Now that you have heard why I was wanting to know how to learn Hindi, maybe you have some ideas of your own about the Hindi lessons you would like to have access to. Each of us has our own reasons to learn Hindi. Whether you want to travel to India and want to be able to speak and understand its major language, or for other reasons.

My cousin, who was born in Wisconsin, married a man who was born in India, and now she has relatives in Varanasi, India who speak Hindi. She would also like their daughter to have some knowledge and appreciation for the Indian culture. So the ability to speak, understand and read the Hindi language would be useful.
